Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) is a multi-cultural, co-educational institution supported by the government of Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is a new institution, being built on the foundation of an Engineering college which has been in existence since 1989. The University currently offers programs in Telecommunications, Electronics and Computer Engineering. Other programs currently under development include Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The University will also develop programs in other disciplines including logistics management, health sciences, homeland security and applied sciences. Degrees are offered at bachelors, masters and doctoral levels. KUSTAR has a grand vision to be recognized as one of the leading universities in the world. It is committed to attracting, developing and retaining a diverse workforce that strengthens the University's leadership in research and education.
